Argh.this is the problem with views on women. Once a woman loses her youth, she is considered "washed up" and a "hag", a "mess" and having gone "downhill," and thus basically thrown out in the garbage along with everything else we once liked or adored that has been used up and thus we look for something different. I've met Helena Christensen, and she's beautiful. I think her all the more beautiful because it doesn't look like she's had any sort of plastic surgery. These comments about an (gracefully) aging formel model are a shocking testament to the true and rather tragic nature of some human beings.

I agree, Mirabella Mott. And lucky you, to have met such a lovely person. I've long thought she was just spectacular. And as a woman who is suddenly not as young as she used to be, myself, I appreciate that Helena Christensen doesn't look like she's twelve.

You kids are mentally impared. You wish you looked even a little like her at 20. Get over your Old Navy wearing, Supercuts-sporting, Starbucks-swizzling, fat-gut selves. 90% of the kids I see in the "fashionable" area I live in are disgusting, with their stomachs hanging out of the 7 jeans. It's gross. Y'all are just jealous that she's still got it going on. She probably has a brain made of concrete, but do not diss on her looks. To quote 'Sixteen Candles': "She's practically un-cuttable."

Do you realise what real beauty is? she is a natural beauty without makeup a stunning natural earthy kind of girl and mabe she has changed from the 90's we all have but she is still as gorgeous, if we new we would be looking like her at that age we would be very lucky and pleased. she is not old.

SHES TOO OLD TO BE DATING MY MAN JOSH HARNTETT!!
I don't know if they're dating but they are together at the Oxegen festival, apparently looking cosy, so suck it up and accept she's not "too old" for Josh. Maybe he's just realised how much more fun a mature woman is after spending 2 years with an insecure, demanding 22 year old. Bye Scarlett! -

She will always be one of the most beautiful women ever. When she's 75 she will still be gorgeous. She also appears to have a wonderful attitude about life. All around any person on the board would be blessed to have a second look from her.

All these models capitalize on our culture's obsession with youth, making themselves stick-thin and focusing on the surface appearance. It is only fitting that they fall that much farther when time catches up. That's when we realize that beauty really is only skin deep.
