I've lost all my respect for him

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I'll start his thread anyway. I've read Miley's "Miles To Go", where she brings up the issue that Billy Raywas afraid if he was cast as Miley Stewart's father, the world would think that Miley only got to the part because she was his daughter. But if he was afraid that the world would thought so, why doesn't he act the total opposite way, if you know what I mean?
I won't say that Billy Ray Cyrus is a bad person or a father who doesn't loves his daughter. From what I've seen, he and Miley seem to have a genuine warm relationship. What bothers me is the way he promotes her. Sure, on a objective perspective it isn't worse than a father who wants to make money of a daughter he doesn't have a good relationship with or doesn't even know, but it's still creepy. The fact that he is with her in many interviews and ocassions makes it more noteworthy. It seems like he wants the spotlight more himself.
And he always brags about her. Sure, every parent who loves their kids wants to brag about their child, but Billy R brags about Miley constantly - in spite of her mistakes. I'm not saying that he should talk about her mistakes, but the way he ignores it to the press makes one suspicious and gives the wrong impression.
A normal parent, in spite of how much they love their kids, would do be more objective when they speak about their child to the press or in general. To take a comparison; My parents brags about me when I've done something right, but does the opposite when I've done something wrong. But fortunately I have good parents.
A good example of Billy's actions is when he hosted the "GAC Exclusive Sneak Peek of Hannah Montana The Movie". It wasn't necessarily wrong that he was the host, but it was creepy, since he bragged about Miley, calling her "my little girl" and saying only wonderful things about her music and her performance in the movie. Perhaps it isn't embarrasing for Miley, but it's embarrasing to see and gives the wrong impression to the audience. -

I agree, and when Miley deleted her twitter account, Billy Ray was tweeted about it and said something like, "Don't let us down now, Miles. We're all counting on you. Come back." or something stupid. What an idiot. If the girl wants more privacy, and doesn't enjoy reading the mean comments, then good for her, I'm glad she deleted it. Billy Ray was trying to get her to come back to something that obviously made her upset, what the hell? The fact that he was trying to make her feel guilty was also very strange. It's a damn twitter account for goodness sakes, if she doesn't want to be on it, then he should support her.
