From what's been said about Majandra's new CD Tarte, it sounds like its going to be more stripped down and natural than her earlier songs. She's grown up quite a bit since her last album and I think her music will reflect that. I think she has an amazing voice and like to hear her try different things artistically.
If you go to this site http://www.in-the-moon.com/fr/, there is a video of her singing one of her newer songs from her concert in Paris in 2004.
Go to book video and scroll down to Majandra live at La Maronique and there is a real player clip. A little further down is a clip of her duet with RoBERT, Le Prince Bleu.
Enjoy! -

Since i saw Roswell I knew I would like her taste from her very small mentions of the singers PJ Harvey, Fiona Apple, and Portishead. I am not a big Portishead fan but Fiona and PJ are some of my favorites, including Bjork which she said influences her music as well. She has got to be one of the best singers, just very unknown, cant wait to see if the comes out with a new CD besides "The Sicks" -

Does anyone know where one could get a copy of "THE SICKS", or even a download of it I've tried her wabsite, amazon, almost every torrent site out there and with no avail.
All I've listened to is the stuff off Roswell, and the snipets off her websiteI think she is brilliant, but you can't get her music anywhere! HVM doesn't even know who I'm talking about when I go in there.
e-mail me @ janX_94@hotmail.com If u can help..THX

I just discovered Majandra as a Singer. I got to know RoBERT and "Le prince bleu". Majandra also wrote the English lyrics which I found workedvery well with the French ones. I have to check other stuff out too I think
a really good voice.

I would kill for whatever would be closet to a studio version of her performance on Roswell for the Meatloaf's song. It's easy to find the song directly extracted from the tv episode, but the dialogue is extreely annoying.

her music is so depressing. i listened to clips of it on itunes and it made me want to slit my wrists. it makes elliott smith seem upbeat.
