Feminism means different things to different people. And to some people, it represents a loss of manners, femininity, and class. To some people it represents nagginess and hypoc2000risy. As for it meaning supporting the rights of women, you can support the rights of women by just being kind to women. Simple as that. It doesn't need a special organization or title.
It seems to me like feminism has become a kind of religion people might agree on some points of their religion, and not others.

Actually some of the most sexist anti-feminists in the world are kind to women. Sexism just like Racism shouldn't be about being kind or unkind. It should be about rights. Since most rights are already protected by original laws when properly enforced we don't really need hate crime laws and sexual harassment laws but certain groups do and always will demand special treatment

I never even once said or suggested that men were "dreadful creatures". In fact, I'm on the oppositeb68 end of the feminist spectrum, that is I'm not a feminist, and I don't have a gripe with men.

You are clearly taking my comment out of context. Number one, I wasn't the one who singled out my gender the previous commenters did. Number two, my comment wasn't frivolous and I never said anything about the men being "kinder" in comparison to the way they have been. I just said that feminist need to shut up, because as long as men are kind to women, there is no need for a special ideology built around that. And from that simple statement, I'm getting all this backlash of criticism, which makes no sense.
It seems like you guys are the ones making frivolous comments, by not paying attention to the context from which you are replying.

I'm totally a feminist. Love men and get laid by a hot husband whenever I like. I don't need his kindness; I need his respect, which is bigger than and includes kindness. There is a difference between being chivalrous and chauvinistic. There is a difference between being a loving, sexy, smart, sassy woman (feminist) and being a fragile, polite, deferential doll lady. My man doesn't need me to be 5b4smaller and weaker in our partnership so that so he can feel manly; he has manners and treats people - men and women - feminist ir not - with dignity and respect. He would NEVER speak to ANYONE like the anti-feminists in this message thread (although privately he did say you were a bunch of pussies. His wwords, not mine). The sex is hot - which is what he and I care about. All this other chauvinist rude crap? Not masculine. Not sexy.
But hey, if you really want to be kind to women, pay us equal wages for equal work. Until that equality happens, feminists have a job to do still. Want feminists to go away? Stop treating women unfairly and pay them the same as men for doing the same jobs. That is kindness that REALLY matters. Oh, and Get men to stop raping and beating women (and othet men). Sorry guys, check the data. MEN do 95% of sexual assaulting. Is that kindness and fairness to women? Fix that and feminists go away. Otherwise the feminists who care about women's right to live freely without the threat of rape will ride your sick misogynistic ass into hell, and more power to them for it.
