Born in 1962. That makes her 48, not 40.
She has aged quite a bit, even from the fairly recent Dead Like Me movie which makes me think she might be getting some make up to help her along. Also, there's a psychological effect because she's playing a granny. -

I agree that she is a striking, stunningly beautiful woman, but yes she does look older than 48.
Several friends or family members are that age or older, have no surgical enhancement, and they look far younger. I'm not trying to be mean, because she's gorgeous. But I disagree with anyone who cites her age as the sole reason for her appearance. It's not necessarily normal for everyone to look that way at age 48. I suspect that some lifestyle habits or health issues possibly contributed in Ms. Guy's case. -

I think Miss Guy looks really fine, as she aged yes she almost 50 and guess what if you're not the showbizz, most men and women in their late 40's or early 50's look older than 20
maybe she has lupus, maybe she had bad social life with drug and alcohool, i know lot of people who did one or the other and look younger so i think it's just that she didn't get plastic surgery to correct the effect of age

The real reason why Jasmine Guy looks horrible is DRUGS! Everyone saying that Jasmine is sick, that is a lie developed by her public relations team. That is their job; they are paid to lie and cover up a celebrities problems. Everybody who is a hollywood insider knows Jasmine is a serious cocaine abuser. Remember, drugs will not only ruin your life, they will age you very quick; just ask Linsay Lohan!

She played a grandmother in the Vampire Diaries and it was totally realistic. Hollywood must think she looks the role of a grandmother. She could easily pass for 70. My mom is 67 and looks far better than she does. And I'm not trying to mean, just honest. I'm deeply sorry if she's sick and aged because of it. My heart goes out to her.
