Has anyone seen her dance?

Everytime Jasmine had a part where she had to dance, she had to stay in character. I thought it was funny, but I also wanted to see her dance for real. I know she was a member of Alvin Ailey. Has anyone ever seen her do modern dance or ballet or know if she's doing any Broadway shows?

Yeah, I have seen her really dnace. She danced in a Melba Moore and Friends video for "Lift Every Voice & Sing" back in the late 80's or early 90s. i know I was kid then, but I remember cause i used to just love Jasmine Guy back then (still think she's cool). Anyway, in the video, all the singers like Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, and all had on white. And Jasmine had on this long flowing white skirt and did some Alvin Ailey type dancing. It was really pretty. She alos danced for real on "Different World" on the day she first met Julien when she was rehearsing for something.

That episode that you are talking about will air on the Oxygen Channel this Monday, December 26th at 11am EST/ 10am CST. The episode is titled A World Alike. I haven't seen this one for a long time so I'm excited it will be reairing soon. Man, I love A Diffe1c84rent World.

She danced in FAME- season one, in the first 10 episodes (part of the dance ensemble). You can see her most prominently in not only the opening credits (in the mid-air spread eagle), but in the episode "Alone In A Crowd," where the students improvise a musical production for some William Morris Agents after the lights go out. She is one of the two girls dancing with Leroy in the song 'We Got The Power.'
She danced several times in ADW- once in a step show, once with Jaleesa (both backing up Gladys Knight), and another time in some kind of dress rehearsal (it sounded like a piece of the Alvin Ailey ballet REVELATIONS) the day she met Julian. I also saw her dance the role of Velma in CHICAGO about 10 years ago. She was awesome.
