Her voice really grates on me. Very nasal and annoying. Almost as if she has a speech impediment. She's not eye candy

People like her because shes a great actress and directer, and the best charecter on ER. That and I have a feeling that she is a wonderful person also off the screen and out of the studio. Atleast thats why I like her. I also think she is very yummy eye candy!!

She is an amazing person. I dont know how many actors or actresses, would have been okay with being a gay character on a tv show. I give her alot of props for that. She is also an amazing actress, and her voice just gives her character, a true midwest accent. lol. Also, she is one hell of a director, Im hoping if eventually she does go big screen she does something with maura tierney. And she is very pretty.

Are you kidding me? Sophia is one of the best characters on that show! I love the way she plays her so sweet and vulnerable, but she can turn ruthless at a moment's notice and even when she's at her most ruthless, she still makes you think she's got your best interests in mind! A really great, manipulative character.

Laura is an amazing actress and comes across as a lovely lady off-set also.
Kerry Weaver is one of my all-time favourite TV characters and she was brilliant as Sophia on The Event. She really adds an extra dimension to her characters.
And I think she's really pretty.
