Actually, my friends and I joke because we have a professor that resembles Melinaactually, Melina resembles herour professor was born first. Anyway, we told our professor one day that she looked like Melina, and she was like "Who the heck is that?" LOL. But she was pleased.

And speaking of Marina Sirtis, who also appears in BLIND DATE (filmed in Athens), the woman listed as "first victim" has very similar features and hair. I had to look it up in IMDB to be certain it was not Melina K..
As an odd coincidence, Kirsty Alley also appears in that movie. Both Kirsty and Marina also appear in the Star Trek franchise as Lt. Savick and Counselor Troi respectively. Or maybe not a coincidence since BLIND DATE was made after Kirsty Alley had finished her Star Trek movie, but before it appeared in the theaters. Maybe Marina got into the Next Generation as a result of working with Kirsty? -
