I loved watching hecklers because half the hecklers and critics are just wanna bes that can't make it, so they get off by putting down others.

It was a great film, I really enjoyed it. As a comic who put their video's on Youtube, I could relate to a lot of it. Sometimes, you just want to say shut the beep up!

I really loved it. I had no idea how mean some people's reviews are. Actor's really shouldn't get blamed for crappy writing. Especially not so brutally. 'Rape baby'? Wtf.

That movie made me feel pretty terrible about making fun of Jamie's beep acting.

It was an interesting documentary, I liked it, but Kennedy defending Son of the Mask is ridiculous. He actually seems to think it's good.

The movie is actually good, and you are one of those m****ns that are hecklers.
For real, do you think that movie was made for you? Unless you are a virgin 8 years old kid, I think not. But from what you have written, probably you are.

i thought all the things people had to say about hecklers were pretty good, besides anything involving jamie kennedy.
i found myself siding with the hecklers. he seriously is not funny at all.
was he seriously defending "malibu's most wanted" and "son of the mask" when they got bad reviews?
i did, however, love his response to a heckler, when he said something about how he had gotten a ride to the show in a limo! that was so funny! limos are hilarious. i had never thought about how people in show business actually make a lot of money, but when you compare that to what someone makes who is just paying to see a comedian, oh my god, i can't stop laughing!
i'm gonna try to keep typing this, but it's tough cause i'm still laughing about the limo joke.
weird that most comics actually come up with a joke in response to a heckler, when they can just use the jamie kennedy method, which is pointing out that you are LITERALLY richer than the heckler.
                        pretty clever.
i also loved when he talked to carrot top and couldn't understand why critics, (people who write their opinions) just didn't seem to love "chairman of the board."
unbelievable! clearly these reviewers have a personal vendetta against HILARIOUS movies! they're jealous because they can't make a movie with as many laughs as "chairman of the board", "malibu's most wanted", or "son of the mask."
i would be way more angry but i'm still laughing at the limo joke!

I was dying of laughter when he was reading a review of chairman of the board to carrot top. I mean the look on carrot tops face, and the seriousness of him reading the review was priceless. I mean how the hell did carrot top not know that movie wasn't utter garbage. People like Jamie Kennedy make me laugh, not because they are funny, but because how they just utterly suck at comedy and still not realize it.

for real. just LOOK at carrot top. he's a roided out freak who's had some bizarre facial work done and appears to be wearing eyeliner.
having said that, i do find him a somewhat likable guy, unlike jamie kennedy who just comes off as a total douche, complaining and trying to come off as somehow above criticism.
i imagine it was jamie kennedy's idea to have the midget in the hot tub with him talking about getting girls, and to have a scene where he's having something shoved up his ass, and to have the fat girls at the end when he burns the reviews he printed out probably that morning. (made sense cause once you print out a review or blog and burn it, it's no longer on the internet.) this is the comic relief in the movie apparently.
also he said "slunky" and described it to a guy when he had no response or defense against the guy's honest review. (apparently a slunky is a blowjob. HILARIOUS!)
this movie really would've been much better with anyone else but jamie kennedy. a lot of other people in the movie made good points.

I kind of understand what Kennedy is trying to do, but the way he delivers it makes it seem like we should feel sorry for people who make bad movies and perform poorly. I think all performers know going into their profession that they are subject to some intense scrutiny. I agree that some people go too far, but some comedians go too far. It's just a way to get noticed.
I hate the defense that critics need to make a movie or do a comedic set and then the performers will accept their criticism. That's stupid. Comedians don't perform for other comedians, they perform for the general audience, so if you fail the audience you fail at your job. I do agree2000 with one comedian who flat out said if you don't like the show don't go shoot your mouth off, just get up and leave. Hecklers are annoying, albeit, occasionally funny.
I don't like Uwe Boll (sic?) but love watching him beat up those pretentious critics.
Kennedy hasn't done much good lately, he was all right in scream.

the part about hecklers made sense, but apparently the subject of drunk people who talk out of turn couldn't be stretched into a full length movie, so the focus of the movie switched to something completely different like 20 minutes in.
it's called "heckler" but the end is him burning some published reviews.
what's sad is i think that jamie kennedy thinks people are just jealous of him, or are yelling out at his shows that he sucks because that's what hecklers do.
i really think most hecklers are just trying to be part of the show, trying to request a particular bit, and get the comedian to pay attention to them. they aren't trying to disrupt the show. i've seen dave attell (a great comedian in this movie) live and there were drunk frat boys yelling the whole time. it disrupted the show and totally sucked, but they were doing it in a retardedly misguided way because they love him.
i feel like the people who were heckling jamie kennedy in the movie were doing it because they were angry that he sucked so much.

i gotta say, i WANTED to side with jamie kennedy. i just cant. i'll go as far as to say he has a point about the critics being particularly rabid in their bad reviews. thats not necessarily cool. BUT at the same time, jamie kennedy makes plenty of jokes that would upset people just as much, so it evens out.
the documentary is entertaining. jamie kennedy's comedy just isn't that great. i did like his hidden camera show, however.

As much as I liked Jamie Kennedy from the 'Scream' movieshe isn't just unfunny, he can't even recognize humor in general. When some of the critics are making jokes, Jamie doesn't appear to even understand humor is being made. He asks question and they answer them honestly and intelligentlyand he calls them nerds and points out they don't have as much money as him. Rinse, lather, repeat.ughhh.
He seems to be on the 'Andy Dick level' in terms of being thin skinned. The scene in 'Heckler' where he is acting all depressed while an episode of 'Celebrity Deathmatch' with him featured in it plays is the low point of the movie. When shows like that parody or reference you, it means something. It means you're on people's radaryou've 'made it' to a certain degree. He's about to cry over a goofy claymation show that's about celebrities fighting in a boxing ring. That's not even a real criticism!

Wondering why this film isn't listed in Jamie's IMDB Credits? He's pretty much the star of the movie.

I'd say that he doesn't know the difference between critics and hecklers. A critic writes a review after the performance is over. A heckler interrupts the show right in the middle of it. That and Kennedy's behavior in the last few years, like his drunken rant at E3, make it hard to sympathize with him.
