Pic of the guy in quicksand below!
Nothing like getting stuck in a little quicksand to speed along some romance.
A couple has shared the strange - yet adorable moment - they confessed their love for each other, after being best friends for years.
Michigan-based Mitchell O’Brien and Breanne Sika were rock hunting along the Lake Michigan shoreline at Van's Beach last week when disaster struck, and Mitchell found himself stuck in sand and slowly sinking.
'I noticed an area in two-inch of water that looked rather intense under water. I pointed and said "that looks very dangerous,"' Breanne recalled in a now-viral Facebook post.
Breanne said she stepped away from the area as the sand felt 'very soft,' only to turn around to find Mitchell being consumed by beach.
She explained that he 'kept calm' while he sank deeper and deeper into the sand.
He recalled kicking his leg out sideways to stop himself from falling further - which is when it hit him that he was well and truly stuck.
Mitchell eventually told Breanne to call for help after 20 minutes of attempting - and failing - to free himself.
Breanne recalled Mitchell being 'slapped with massive waves,' as he waited for help to arrive.
Terrifyingly, Breanne struggled to contact 911 first.
'My phone wouldn’t connect so I toss him his phone and he called 911,' she shared in the post.
'For me, those moments were terrifying,' Breanne later admitted to NBC News.
However, in their shared panic, Breanne referred to her friend as her boyfriend - while Mitchell called her his girlfriend.
This was reportedly the first time the two ever mentioned having romantic feelings for each other.
'Two years of this guy being my best friend and just trying to hide everything about how we felt and he tried to die on me and becomes my boyfriend,' Breanna gushed.
Thankfully, after accidentally confessing their feelings for one another, help arrived at the scene.
When the firefighters got to Mitchell, they tossed him a life-jacket and lassoed him.
Breanne applauded the brave men, explaining one firefighter was behind Mitchell, trying to 'scoop away sand, throwing wrestling moves in the mix,' while the others pulling him out of the sink hole.
'After warming up, we’ve had nothing but laughs from this wild adventure,' she happily reported.
The firefighters who pulled Mitchell out of the sinking mess said it was a 'mix of sand and muck.'
According to Breanne and Mitchell's Facebook page, they are now officially in a relationship with each other. -

They were waiting for help and he was sinking slowly, so she had time. A lot of people stuck in quicksand would want a picture so they could prove it really happened. Look at all the people who have died trying to take cool pictures on the edges of cliffs, etc.

Which I don’t get.
I mean if you were standing like 10-20 feet from the edge and you took a selfie or I took your pic isn’t the massive open background still going to look impressive?
Is standing on the very edge really going to look any different?
Or are they doing it for viral “bragging rights?”
“I stood at the very edge!”
They could lie and no one would know.
If that’s the case then honesty is not always the best policy!

Well let’s see….
I’ll need time to get it together.
Pack a bag.
Get airline, bus or train tickets.
Rent a car to get there.
Arrive in 2-4 days.
(Hang on! Almost there!)
Help you get up.
Turn around and leave.
Then go through it all over again!

I don’t get it why she didn’t call 911 on his phone and what was she doing with it?
And yeah, why didn’t they make moves on each other before?
