The guy was once one fourth of an iconic group in the 60s. He did write some fantastic music… so did John Lennon and George Harrison…
During his Wings years, he did write a few decent songs.
As for Greatest living rockstar??? It's all a matter of opinion.
Personally, I think that there are Many Great Rock Stars.
For me, listening to music depends on what mood I am in. Anyone can be great, depending on what I am in the mood to hear.
To me, there really are no "Greats" because I think that whoever I am listening to, is Great.

They crossed my mind. They have certainly put out some of the best music over the years, and that isn't just one decade…

This guy had to be a Great Rock Star in his time…
Or possibly, In his Mind????
In any case, when I am in the mood, Mozart is the Greatest!
I even loved him before this movie!

Beethoven is my fave as far as classical. They never made the quintessential film on him yet though. There was that Ed Harris one, but that wasn't too good. As for Amadeus I hated it even though I didn't see the whole thing; that twerp in the wig is quite enough for me

Which film did Ed Harris play Beethoven in? I'd be interested in seeing that. Ed Harris is a favorite. you have me curious now.
As for the movie, Amadeus, I hadn't really thought about these composers as anything other than men who had written great music long ago. Amadeus made me think of these people in ordinary terms. Warts and all.
I hope that someday you might revisit the film. The story really is an interesting one.

Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
