Beethoven is my fave as far as classical. They never made the quintessential film on him yet though. There was that Ed Harris one, but that wasn't too good. As for Amadeus I hated it even though I didn't see the whole thing; that twerp in the wig is quite enough for me

Which film did Ed Harris play Beethoven in? I'd be interested in seeing that. Ed Harris is a favorite. you have me curious now.
As for the movie, Amadeus, I hadn't really thought about these composers as anything other than men who had written great music long ago. Amadeus made me think of these people in ordinary terms. Warts and all.
I hope that someday you might revisit the film. The story really is an interesting one.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

Too bad because he had some great rock—yes rock–albums in the '70s. Of course Band on the Run is his Magnum Opus, but also Wings Across America and all those great singles! By the way, Pete is great, but we're talking greatest, i.e. Paul!
I admit I didn't pay attention to his stuff from the '80s on.

Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.

Thanks!!!
