Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Reba McEntire

I remember her last name was spelled "McIntyre" not "Mcentire."
and the Twilight Zone guy Rod "Sterling" not "Serling."
It must be part of the "Mandela Effect."

Yes, the mandella effect spelling changes freak me out:
Mother Theresa is now Mother Teresa
Berenstein Bears are now Berenstain Bears (The most major case looked at)
      Tumeric is now Turmeric
      and Febreeze is now Febreze.

Definitely. I'm not a fan but I've been researching this Mandela effect. My mom used to watch her show and I clearly remember there being a Y in her name. It's so dumb that the fans don't even seem to notice the spelling change, yet I can How?

As far as I know Serling was always Serling , and its natural to think its Sterling.
However I came here just to see Rebas name as I also thought it was spelt differently and in some parts of the web it still is.

I would testify in court that I remember it spelled as "INT" as well.

That so-called “ Mandela Effect” is bullshit anyways. You’re just remembering it wrong.
