If I'm not mistaking, I think what she really said was, "Is Kelly the red or the blue?" and I think she was referring to which of one of the mics or ear monitors was her set or something technical like that. I HIGHLY doubt she's color blind.

On Oprah she had one of those power packs attached to her back. I don't think she could see the red or blue so she needed help with it.

she is referring to the mics..they are usually color coded to make it easier for the audio operator.

There's a small percentage of women too (something like 0.5%). I'm one of them.

My dad was colorblind and my mom carried the gene which is how I ended up with it. My younger brother has a mild form of Deuteranopia, but otherwise, his color vision is unaffected.
