first of all, reba has not had three husbands to cheat on the first two. secondly, no she did not exactly cheat, she had filed for divorce before she started seeing her second husband, to whom she is still married. and i for one agree with her, after spending almost 11 years in an unhappy marriage, i think she deserved happiness.

that part is all in how you look at it, she was about to free and so she started seeing someone else, orshe was still married and she cheated on her poor, poor husband. cheating ho! i choose to look at it the first way.

Those in the "Nashville" circles know that no matter how many times Reba denies it, there WAS hanky panky going on with Narvel Blackstock before she divorced Charlie Battles. Charlie may have been a jerk but it doesn't justify adultery. Plus, Reba was already pregnant when she married Narvel.so much for the Christian Commandment "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery"which also means .no sex before marriage.

Judge not lest ye be judged, larkpraise. We're all human, we all make mistakes, but the fact is Reba and Narvel are still good people and they don't deserve such cynicism from someone who I'm sure has made their share of mistakes in their lifetime.

Okay, larkpraise, even as a somewhat practicing catholic (with years of religious education) I gotta saythe commandment, 'Thou shalt not commit adultery' has absolutely nothing to do with sex before marriage. I don't want to nitpick, but I really have to ask where you see premarital sex in the seventh commandment. Also, with all that Reba has done for those less fortunate and with the likely possibility that you do not personally know her or her circumstances, why would you judge?

Say what you will about other people. The only person's future you can protect is your own. If Reba McEntire deserves damnation, the proper deity or deities will assign it. There are much bigger problems in the world, and many of them come from people making quick judgments about other people without taking the time to learn anything about them. How many of us really know the celebrities we idolize (Oh, wait. I shouldn't use
idolize
. I might go to Hell.)? How many of us know the complete truth about them? In the end those entertainment "gods" are human. They make mistakes, and some pray for forgiveness. We will probably never know the truth about the situation, and I for one really don't care. I am not God, Allah, Yaweh, Zeus, Vishnu, or any other god you may believe in. I'm just another sinning human who asks for forgiveness every day. -

That is not true because they got married in the beginning of june or july and didn't go on there honeymoon until the end of june or july. She found out that she was pregnant after her honeymoon. So she did not break a commandment

Correct me is I'm wrong, but did'nt conservative/republican Reba cheat on her first two husbands. Will wait for answer before commenting further.
Narvel is her second and there is no third, as someone already pointed out. But it appears that you're correctthat she did cheat on Charlie. I do think it's cowardly not to just own up to thisit happens! Even when I was basically a child reading her autobiography, I thought she was protesting too much when she kept insisting that she waited until Charlie was officially out of her life. I don't think it was wise to discuss these matters with the public. I think that's her mistake and I wouldn't talk about it at all myself had she not brought it to my attention (indirectly) by documenting it in her book.
I'm pretty sure I know where you're going with the conservative/Republican comment, but on the other hand, while she might be a self-professed Bush supporter, I don't think she's a very political person in general. I don't think politics is her forte. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Reba is one of my all-time favorite performers, so on some level I'm hesitant to be critical of her at all, but being critical doesn't mean one isn't in support of an artist's careerand in the grand scheme of things, it's not much of a big deal, anyway.
Interesting topic.
