Correct me is I'm wrong, but did'nt conservative/republican Reba cheat on her first two husbands. Will wait for answer before commenting further.
Narvel is her second and there is no third, as someone already pointed out. But it appears that you're correctthat she did cheat on Charlie. I do think it's cowardly not to just own up to thisit happens! Even when I was basically a child reading her autobiography, I thought she was protesting too much when she kept insisting that she waited until Charlie was officially out of her life. I don't think it was wise to discuss these matters with the public. I think that's her mistake and I wouldn't talk about it at all myself had she not brought it to my attention (indirectly) by documenting it in her book.
I'm pretty sure I know where you're going with the conservative/Republican comment, but on the other hand, while she might be a self-professed Bush supporter, I don't think she's a very political person in general. I don't think politics is her forte. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Reba is one of my all-time favorite performers, so on some level I'm hesitant to be critical of her at all, but being critical doesn't mean one isn't in support of an artist's careerand in the grand scheme of things, it's not much of a big deal, anyway.
    Interesting topic.

This is like, the best answer to EVERY artist anyone likes EVER. Just take out Reba and insert someone else's name, and it's the same thing.
You, Systole, are a genius, and more people should learn from you. Just because someone criticizes an artist doesn't mean they hate them. I've criticized Carrie Underwood, but as you can see from my username, I am a fan. Being a fan of something/someone means you're able to admit if they/it make a mistake.

Well, thanks. 🙂 I'm no genius, but I do think it's sad that people can get all up in arms over criticism. One of my pet peeves is when people think it's unpatriotic to criticize the government.

NO! She was already seperated from Charlie Battles when she started up with Narvel. Howeve2000r-Narvel was already working with her as a manager and before a band member. But they never commited adultry. Narvel was also seperated from his previous wife as well. It just kinda came together soon after the seperations so people seem to think that's what happened.

Well considering that's what this board is about, I'm guessing the people that are discussing it.

I knew when I saw the title to this thread it would irritate me, and I don't normally let myself get pulled into these types of things. However, I have to this time.
First of all, get your facts straight; Reba was only married once before her current marriage, and she was separated before she became involved with her current husband.
Secondly, what on Earth does her politics have to do with her love life? I'm as far to the left as you can get, but even I realize Republicans need love too.
Thirdly, I'd say her values regarding relationships are pretty good. She has been married twice in the last 30+ years. Her current marriage is approaching 20 years, and it is by all accounts a good relationship.
Finally, who appointed you the morality police?! From the tenor of your post, I take it you have issue with the political right. By making a post like yours, you have stooped to the low level of the "moral majority" who defame everything they disapprove.
Why would her love life be of any concern to any of us anyway? She is a wonderful entertainer who I have paid to see in concert and it was worth every penny.
Grow up, get over it, get a life and engage your brain before you start typing next time.
                      Best Wishes,
                      Fitz
