This is shocking news. Minghella was a brilliant director, one of my favourites.
What a tragic loss to cinema.
        RIP.

I am deeply sad about Anthony Minghella's death. Such a brilliant artist!
He had such a wonderful directing, writing and of course directing. I always found his work very intriguing, thoughtful, full of detail and in my humble opinion I always found his films were like little studies on human behaviour.
            Fascinating.
The English Patient is, if not; my all time favourite film. I fell In love with his work since I first watched Truly, Madly, Deeply. Talented Mr. Ripley was fantastic. Cold Mountain had beautiful performances and Breaking And Entering, even tho it was not critically acclaimed, I thought it was very good.
A GREAT ARTIST will be missed.
            I will miss you Anthony.
My condolences to his family and friends.
            Rafael

My thoughts go out to his family. An incredibly talented man who had so much more to contribute to the film industry and the world and died too soon. Thank you for all your wonderful work.

Why do jerks like Michael Bay live to 100? Why, God, why??!
Umm, Michael Bay is still only in his early 40s. So yeah.
