The Talented Mr Ripley is just the most beautiful film.
And Minghella really created it as a work of art. It's without a doubt my favourite film of all time.

Upon recieving his Oscar for 'The English patient' he took the time to say "This is a great day for the Isle of Wight",we're a bit precious of him in these parts too.
"I'm as mad as hell and i'm not gonna take this anymore" !!

This man was fantastic, and his work is fantastic. The English Patient is my all time favorite film, and has had a huge impact on my life. What an absolute shame.

This lovely man made the most beautiful films. The imagery and the way he uses and films locations in his pictures is truly stunning. I am a big fan of all of his films, and I miss him already. It's a very very sad loss. My condolences to his family and friends. Please take some solace and joy from the beauty he created on film. A very special man.
