I first saw Meredith on Dawson's Creek and really loved her character, but I didn't remember her name. Sometime last year I saw the trailer for Shopgirl and I was sure that Claire Danes was actually Meredith Monroe. I just found out they were two different people.

I totally agreeMeredith Monroe and Claire Danes do look a lot similar, especially when they've got the same hair color at the time

I've heard of Claire Danes, but only recently ran across Meredith in a repeat of an old TV series, "Masters of Horror" (She had a nice range of emotion and it all came across as believable).
