Much like most reality shows, Brandys MTV mini series, Diary Pr5b4esents: Brandy Special Delivery, was fabricated for TV, as for her marriage to her daughters father Robert Smiththe whole thing was a sham. In early 2002, Brandy announced she was pregnant and had been secretly married in the summer of 2001. After the birth of Brandys daughter, Smith revealed that the two never legally wed, and that they faked their marriage in order to preserve Brandys image. Smith soon got back with the woman he was with before Brandy.

Brandy deserved more than this creep had to offer her. I would say something harsher but I'm a lady.
Brandy was at the top of her game and it seems like her career didn't recover from the hit it took. I don't think she has anything to apologize for
She had a child out of wedlock. The guy (Robert Smith) used her and then he had the audacity to go public when it looked like the cash cow he latched on to didn't give him as much milk as he wanted.
Robert Smith is a n-o-b-o-d-y. Brandy had accomplished so much at a young age. Of course, she would try to protect her image.
I have a problem with Robert Smith because initially he was willing to play the role of 'chivalrous knight' and protect Brandy's image and then he turned on her but outing her. I've seen some of the clips where he basically disses the mother of his child (Brandy).
He's lucky - cuz if he had fathered a child by one of my daughters and then dissed her publicly. I would have cracked him upside the head with SUMPTHIN (uh.something) by now!

I remember that. I watched it and was like "whoa she's so grown up now, married and about to have a baby". Wasn't it a series that came on for like a few months or less as they followed her pregnancy? I remember watching it during the summer time when I was on summer vacation and she hadn't been out in a while then she came back with this reality show and "married" and pregnant. Why lie to people about this? I know she comes from a religious family who doesn't believe in having kids out of wedlock, but why even present it to the world if they knew it wasn't true? I think at the time her career was slacking and they were desperate and did that show which was basically a lie. I'm still a fan of Brandy though.

Why come on here and lie about Brandy not having a child? I've seen pictures of her with her daughter many times. How would it benefit Brandy to say she has a child if she doesn't?
