How interesting Rebecca Gayheart gets Sympathy and Brandy gets shame

Brandy just happened to have an accident in which the other driver was killed. It happens more often than you'd expect and she was cleared of any wrongdoing.
Gayheart was driving behind another car who came to a stop and, instead of stopping herself to see why the car in front did, she impatiently zoomed around the car and it turned out the reason the car stopped was because a child was crossing the street. Gayheart struck the child and killed him. And I also believe she was on her cell phone at the time.
It has nothing to do with her race. It was pure irresponsibility on Gayheart's part that a child's life is lost. She was in a hurry. And t5b4hat's horrible. -

rebecca was only the "noxema" chick at the time. and she lost a TV show she was about to do, as a result.
so i'd say no, you're wrong. rebecca gayheart got hit in the press as well as her celebrity allowed. do you even hear about her anymore? no.. cause her career is as dead as the little boy she hit.
and as an aside, the little boy rebecca hit was jaywalking, and it brought up a big issue about how mexicans jaywalk all the time. down in mexico its kinda the norm, i guess, probably cause they don't mark crosswalks like we do. (our infostructure is the best in the world). i can't tell you how many times i've seen mexican mothers walking with their kids right through the middle of the road, instead of walking anouther 100yards to a signal/cross walk. -

Your argument is beep stupid. Symantics. Blunt force trauma must have been caused by something else and not a car flying into the ass end of hers. You want to say that it's race huh. beep moron. Using Gayheart as an example is ridiculous. Let's use the vice president as an example. When he shot his buddy in the face, I guess everything was ok and nobody heard anything about that because he is white? Here is some more of your logic. Visit OJ in jail lately? Probably not. Oh wait.but he isn't whitewhat is going on here!!!!?

I hope you all aren't into the habit of dismissing EVERY point that's made, simply because race is mentioned. Just because the so-called 'race-card' is pulled, doesn't necesarrily make the point any less valid. Just thought I'd point that out.
Then point out how Rebecca Gayheart was treated differently? -

JVon, the reason why many points are dismissed when race is mentioned is because any time a black person is involved in anything, the race card is pulled. I'm black and I am so sick of this damn "race card;" It's brought up in EVERYTHING!

But Rebecca Gayheart sure knocked the hispanic kid with her car. Gayheart's episode with the law wasn't blown up in the press. I sure hope Brandy has a good lawyer and she fights this. eraccording to every news report Brandy's car struck the victim's vehicle from behind, causing it to crash into the car in front of it and then move on to the next lane into oncoming traffic. This cause a head on collision with an oncoming vehicle which killed the victim.
So which part of this have we missed where Brandy did not strike the victim?
I have no idea who Ga2000yheart is but in her case the victim was jaywalking, so yes there was negligence on her part, but the victim also put himself at risk. It's like if Brandy was driving at 65mph according to the speed limit and someone cuts into her lane without warning and she can't stop in time and they crash. Yeah, I'd feel sorry for her because it's not all her fault.
But the key difference here is that the victim in Brandy's case was driving normally. Stopped. And Brandy was negligent and failed to notice the traffic movement and slammed into the victim's back.
Stop trying to play the race card or bend the truth. -

well, as far as i know you can't blame a child for not following the traffic rules. as the driver you have to watch out for kids (and old people i believe?) no matter if they jaywalk or walk at red light.
anyways, that's not the subject here.
i doubt it has something to do with her colour, so stop talking about it. it's kinda silly.

well "race card" or not, im gonna spray my opinion, it is because she is black, rich and famous, trying to make an example of her, and its not fair, no sense of justice in this at all, brandy hasnt done any intentionaly wrong, it was an ACCIDENT! plain and simple, my neighbour died the same way a few years ago and there was no conviction nor fine, as it was an ACCIDENT, in which she shows remorse for what happened

The white media are definitely going hard after Brandy because she's young, black, rich, and famous. The dead woman's family definitely look greedy suing Brandy for $50 million dollars which they will never get that large sum of money. Because appeals could go on forever. Rebecca Gayheart ran over a kid and got nothing. Brandy was not the actual person that hit the woman's car that died. So I don't think Brandy should do any jail time. Hopefully Brandy can pay the family off and make them disappear.

If that was valid, then if someone pushed another in front of a moving train it wouldn't totally be their fault because they didn't actually strike the person and kill them. Yeah, right.
