I remember an interview which included Carroll, James and David Doyle(charlie's angels). Does anyone remember this and what is the connection between them (other than being irish)?

I remember seeing a TV interview where Carroll said he patterned Archie Bunker's accent on the way his friend Carney spoke.

Cagney was friends with John Travolta. They had houses near each other, and for some reason Cagney liked Travolta. At the time, folks said it was the kind of braggadocio that Travolta engaged in…until Cagney confirmed it at the AFI Awards.
So age difference didn't matter to Jimmy Cagney. Whether he was friends with Carrol O'Connor, I don't know.
