yeah I really don't understand all this talk about somebody wanting to make money. God forbid somebody should wanna make money! As if people just release albums for the fun of it and should just play in small bars and live in a truck otherwise they're a sellout right? LOL. I hear this all the time. People act like an artist is the anti-christ because they're making money. Bottom line is they both have a successful career and it just depends on the style you prefer. I love'm both

Ozzy speaks in his songs about life, death, literature, traveling, drugs, wisdom etc. deep matters wherears Dio doesnt understand at all about these matters. Dio does his doomy music only cus he has found out that the metal fans find it "cool", but Dio doesnt understand the deep meaning of it all.
Why do u care bout Daisley and Kerslake anyw? Theyre both rich as pigs, they dont have any money problems. Besides, the albums are still pretty awesome even though remastered, in fact, I think they're only better. -

Dont get me wrong I do not respect Ozzy as a musician, but as a band. Daisley wrote all the favorite lines I love, like: "Dreams that have shattered, may not have mattered take another point of view". Its like being lost in life.
Ozzy just were getting high and drunk and the rest of the band dragged the druggy outta the bathtub to sing those meaningful lines. -

Those people who denigrate Sabbath with Dio might want to remember that
Heaven and Hell
is one of the all-time classic heavy rock albums.
Dio is clearly a better singer and I much prefer him to Ozzy, but I also think he was better in Rainbow and Dio than in Black Sabbath. Also, I prefer the Sabbath songs from the Ozzy years sung by Ozzy. Even though Dio is a better vocalist, I don't think his voice suits songs like Paranoid as well as Ozzy's does.
When I said I wanted to be a comedian, they all laughed at me. Well, they're not laughing now! -

Yeah that's true Dio's vocals don't really suit the ozzy era stuff as is evident on the live evil album. As far as live performances now though? Dio is far superior. I love ozzy as much as everybody else, but at this point, it's a dam near miracle when he can pull out a decent live performance. as recent as 2 years ago he was still able to, but not anymore. His time has most definitely passed. Dio's voice has held up incredibly well.

Dio is boring impersonal singer. Ozzy has some emotional levels attachedb68 to him, its not just about the singing, its the magic that only a real Ozzy fan can instinct. -

So I'm not a real ozzy fan because I think dio can perform better now? I think it's safe to say that I was a true ozzy fan long before you were even born pal. I'm specifically talking about "now" and who sings better live. Dio can still have performances like he did 30 years ago. Ozzy can't. That's fact. Plain and simple. Why did you put "weak" in the title? pffffttt I doubt you've ever seen dio perform live or ozzy for that matter. That's my opinion since I actually go to concerts and "see" them live. if you don't like it you can kiss my ass

"Weak" "Your sickness"? What the flick is that? Can't you express an alternate opinion with attempting to be insulting?
I've seen Dio live a couple of times and he has been fantastic. A great live singer and a strong on-stage persona.
Incidentally, jaynh1111, in response to your comment that Dio's voice has held up well, this is true, his voice has held up well and he is now in his mid-sixties. He compares well to Robert Plant whose voice had lost a lot of range by his mid-20s.

His sickness???????? Because he can tell the difference between Ozzy's 80s' performances and now performances that's a "sickness"?
Dude, I wasn't even born in the 80s and yet I can tell the differences.
BTW why do you bother changing the titles? That just makes you look dumb.
