There're not just the three guys. You can clearly see in the reflection it's a party full of people.
The photo is still staged to some degree. Ryan is pretending to be upset/straight-faced while the other two laugh for comedic purposes. He's joking himself. It looks funnier on Instagram that way. I bet he had a good laugh at it.
