No, I don't think so. She has some commentary under bonus features on the anchor bay release of 21 jumpstreet DVD's. She said her mother told her while she was in Vancouver that, no matter how cute the guys she was working with that she should not become involved with any of them. She took her mothers advice, smart girl!

Blasphemer. Mothers aren't always right.
What's the worst that could happen by dating Johnny Depp? Besides probably being engaged after the first date and inhaling second hand smoke on a daily basis
and apparently he was interested in her but she turned him down because she had a boyfriend
What article is that? -

People.com listed Holly as one of Johnny's girlfriends.
I also found this old article. She talks about her relationship with Johnny and that they were just good friends.

They probably dated but nothing serious. -

Johnny Depp was dating actress Sherilyn Fenn at the time the show was on. If he did date Holly, it probably wasn't for very long. Johnny's a smart man and I'm sure wouldn't put up with Holly's drama.
LOL!!!!
I can't believe I just read that. Johnny Depp was the one with drama;111c he was well known for being difficult and having a bad temper. He was arrested, he got into fights, he trashed hotels, etc. So it was
Holly
who was the smart one for not putting up with his drama.
Johnny and Sherilyn had long broken their engagement by 1987 due to the difficultly of their long distance relationship. Then he was briefly engaged to Jennifer Grey (for less than 8 months) but everyone knew that was pretty fraudulent. Johnny started courting Winona Ryder around late 1989 early 1990, so if he was with Holly during the 21 Jump Street era it probably would have probably been after Sherilyn but before Winona.
Yeah, it's not like her career ever took off.
If she'd dated the guy, maybe she'd be a bigger star ?
She didn't go on to do any movies but she did have two successful TV shows afterward (Hangin' With Mr. Cooper and For Your Love). -

Holly said in a interview, people were always asking if Depp and her were having something, because off screen, they were seen hanging out together, but she said they were just good friends.Besides, Johnny was dating Sherilynn Fenn in that time, and Holly had not eyes for Depp, as boyfriend.
In fact,She said he was a great friend, and was asked who would she like to have a pirate adventure with, and she said " Well, not Johnny. He's a friend, unlike every other women in the world,i just don't feel that way about him".
They were just friends.Maybe their chemistry seemed like they had something deeper, but they were just buddies having fun.It is not the first time that there are a women and a men who are best friends, and have not love interest each other, even tough they are friendly and caring..I can understand people tought they were dating, because there are a lot of pics where Johnny and Holly are hugging each other,or having some kind of physical contact..but i guess they were that kind of friends who act like a couple.,but without being it.

I guess its hard to believe that a woman could turn down Johnny Depp. They're so fixated with the 'Johnny Depp' image of today they don't remember/know what he was like back than.
Like the old article
said, Holly said they were very friends. Now, its not hard to believe that Depp was really into her, especially at a time where he really was into the idea of getting engaged/married. Just because he's a big A-list celebrity NOW (and Holly is not) doesn't mean its impossible she could have turned him down.
yuck, she wishes she did she might be more famous.
It wouldn't have made a difference. Believe it or not but Johnny Depp wasn't that famous back than.

"Everyone that meets me seems to want to know the same thing. What's it like working with Johnny Depp?' And I always give the same answer - it's wonderful. Not just because we're both really dedicated to the show and its message to high school kids -drugs are not cool'! - but because we get alon5b4g so well. And because he's a really sweet guy.
"First of all, and I'm not sure most people know this, Johnny and I are both musicians. I mean that. We think of ourselves as musicians first and actors second! We both write songs, but I'm more of a singer and Johnny's, more of a guitarist.
"And we perform together sometimes. So it's only been at cast and crew wrap parties, but we've been talking and Johnny just may play a couple of tracks of the album that I'm making. I hope that happens.
"As for Johnny' own music, that's something he's a little hesitant about right now. It's real important to him that whatever music he puts out that isn't confused with the image he has. You know people see him as an actor and he's becoming a celebrity and all Johnny just wants his music to be taken seriously, not as a celebrity who's suddenly trying to make a record.
Is there a Romance? "Because of the attraction of our characters - Tommy and Judy clearly like each other - and the fact that off screen, Johnny and I do hang out together, people are always asking if we have a thing going on. Well, the answer on 21 Jump Street is that I don't know - whether Tommy and Judy get past the flirting stage is up to the writers! - but I can tell you that in real life were just buddies, that's all!
"What else can I say about Johnny? He's a great actor, in my opinion - and a great friend."111c -
