I was floored when I saw The Proposal. She absolutely blew Sandra Bullock off the screen. She looked magnificent.

yah, i have to say she caught more of my attention than bullock did, next to Reynolds of course.
She was the reason I checked this imdb site. She looks naturally beautiful and I dont think she had botox. I can somehow distinguish what one looks like after botox injection. -

Overwhelmingly concur about Mary looking extremely hot at over 50 years of age!
Surprised no one has mentioned Helen Mirren, over age 60 and looking extraordinary. Heck, in the link below, she still looks great in a bikini!

Women are aging better than they did back then, though its obvious due to botox, facelifts, etc.
No, it's not. If that was the answer then everyone in Hollywood would look great. As the case is, some actresses actually looked worse after they had botox. Meg Ryan and Lara Flynn Boyle were both naturally beautiful but they ruined their faces with plastic surgery.
Back to original topic. Yes, Mary is smokin but I disagree that she looks better than Sandra. They're both hot. Sandra is not that young either. Over 40 but still hot and looks younger than her age.
And well said, Madden09. You can praise a woman without insulting another woman. -

I see a lot of over 50 woman who look great who are not actress's. I am a black woman and I know a lot of black women who don't look close to their age and they look wonderful. And we don't even try to look young. It is not even a issue, aging and trying to look 25 in our community.
It is funny the white community is so hung up on age and for some reason feel if a woman is in the dark side of 30 there are few that are attractive. I cannot believe those Oil Of Olay commercial about stopping winkles at the age of 30. So I beleive it is a cultural issue. Yes Steenburgen, Susan Lucci and Jane Seymour all look great, for any age. But the topic here is very telling because I have seen plenty of women who look like they are 30 and are pushing 50 and look great. Oh and yes stop pitting women against each other. To each his own. -

Well it is a fact and most people agree. It has nothing to do with racism. It is like saying the black community has higher rates of high blood pressure then white people. That is not a racist statement. The melanin in a lot of black people's skin protect them from the sun. That is why black people have less incidents of skin cancer. But I guess for a person who evidently has a pea for a brain would not understand that. Get help.

Comparing biological facts to perceived cultural opinions shows what an unmitigated retard you are. You have no basis for your prior statements - they are the fruit of your covertly racist mind.
Perhaps you can try your scathing "pea brain" retort again? -

Actually I agree that race had no place here. You are definitely a suspect racist.
The women listed are all white, perhaps, but that could be 100% innocent on the part of the posters and you tried to treat it like some cultural lesson. (also you assumed all of us are white, when you can't know on the internet)
"oh white people, stop and look at the black women to see how to live and age gracefully"
Truly uncalled for.Back to topic. Mary is fine as hell

The back to the future event for the Blu-ray discs.
She looks more attractive to me there than in her role in back to the future 20 years ago. -

I never said that quote. But in any case Me suspects that you are possibly a little mad because someone has challenged the illusion of white women being so beautiful. Something I never even thought of until you folk got your feathers flying. I couldn't see why you all got so mad. Well that is why. A racist concept.
It is ok to for a person to have a thread which topic is "I never saw a person over 50 look so good in my Life". As to say older woman can't possible look good after a certain age or it is a rare occurrence. You would never see a thread whose topic is I Never saw a Woman over 25 look so good in my life.. People like you are the reason older women or even women in their 30's get plastic surgery to look young. Because society equates beauty with being young. Yeah that is ok for you folks here to have a topic about that. Agism at its worst.
But as soon as a person comes here and challenges the illusion of white beauty you go bonkers. Call me a racist. Because if what I said makes me a racist. What are you then? -
nothingbutflowers — 15 years ago(December 13, 2010 09:37 AM)
Marbleann,
You calling me an imbecile is pretty hilarious as almost nothing you type makes sense. It sounds like you are probably an older black woman blinded by your own insecurities. No one said older woman cannot be attractive, the thread starter indicated he had never seen a woman over 50 AS beautiful as MS.
NEWS FLASH
Youth and vitality is synonymous with beauty in almost all cultures in the world not just the one dems white people got. We are sorry you are old and need plastic surgery. Happens to everyone, try to put your neurosis aside and accept it rather than coming off as a complete fool. -
marbleann — 15 years ago(December 13, 2010 09:55 AM)
Your response says it all. I can conclude what I had suspected all along, that you have not reached the age of 12 or you are a imbecile. Nobody said that only white people wanted to stay young. No one, just you.
