I'm surprised that nobody else has mentioned this, but I find her lips to be so distracting on The Affair.
She's developed a trout pout, most likely due to some sort of surgery. How unfortunate!
It's an ordinary high school day. Except that it's not.

I've been a huge fan of Ruth Wilson's for years and her lips have always been like that. She might have an unusual looking mouth, but it doesn't look unnatural like Maura's. She never had those lips in ER.
It's an ordinary high school day. Except that it's not.

Yes she did, Maura always had those lips. It's just more pronounced now.

Maybe a bit shallow but I came to this discussion board to see if anyone else had the same thought, so thank you!
I dont know what it is, but every time I see her Im like "geez, stop doing that with your mouth!!"
Maybe she cant help it, its just the way she looks?
I still like her though, kinda.
