Yeah, there was a former classmate of hers who came forward and said she'd accused him to her father before retracting it. That definitely makes you hesitate, as does the fact that she went to the bathroom and removed her shield before coming back out, where the alleged rape then occurred.
The defense basically lost the case fo5b4r Tyson, both with their arguments and by putting him on the stand, where he was angry and combative. He was also allegedly eying women in the jury. -

One other guy claims she accused him. He provided no proof of this and a person can be raped more than once. Tysons been accused of rape by Arlene Moorman, 2 women in Clark County and his ex. He was accused of sexually assaulting LaDonna August, Phyllis Polaner, Virginia Foster and Pam Pinnock. He got violent after being turned down by a sales clerk, a woman in a parking lot, 2 women in a restaurant and a woman in a movie theatre. He molested Teddy Atlas' 11 year old sister in law and AJ Ayer says he saw him forcing himself on a model. He has also sexually harassed many women

There's witnesses to him being violent toward Robin and he told Jose Torres the best punch he ever threw was against her. -

He doesn't need to provide proof of it. The former classmate signed an affidavit. Tyson was innocent until proven guilty, and they did not prove him guilty. I don't know what else there is to say.
Sexual harassment and rape have nothing to do with one another.
Tyson was only 15 himself when he grabbed Atlas's sister's butt. Again, sexual harassment/groping, not rape.
As for the rest of thatconsider the sources and what they actually said. Yes, numerous women have accused him of groping or making moves on them or talking crass to them, and yet they also talk about how they "pushed him away." Even Desiree Washington in her testimony claimed that Tyson "tried" to kiss her in the limo and she pulled away.
What's wrong with this picture? If Tyson wanted to rape someone, there would be nothing anyone could do about it. These women wouldn't have gotten away. -

Actually he's wavered a lot in his comments he's on tape saying he likes hearing the word no from women in sexual situations. He's also said "He called me a 'rapist' and a 'recluse.' I'm not a recluse. Jose Torres said Tyson told him he likes to hurt women sexually and he's on tape saying about Desiree "maybe I took it further but whatever". Pam Pinnock when she asked Tyson if Desiree said no he responded "so did you but you didn't mean it".
There was very strong evidence he's guilt (read my earlier post). -

I'd like to actually see/hear these quotes and know the context, rather than read internet claims that he said them. I've seen too many misquotes and myths spread around the internet over the years to believe something that is only written on the web.
Torres was reportedly threatened by Robin Givens's legal team and may have altered the book as a result. -

There's something rather sick about the general public if they consider a rapist/wife-beater/ear-biter more 'interesting' than a decent human-being. And even if that is true, that such a person is more 'interesting' than the rest of us, it shouldn't merit popularity. By that logic, Mugabe, Bin Laden, Stalin, Pol Pot and Hitler must be the most popular people in history.

They'470re not popular in terms of garnering admiration, but those are clearly some of the most important and hence interesting people of recent history.

Tyson served time in jail for his crime. I think a significant amount of people know that Tyson was basically a caged animal who grew up in one of the worst projects in New York. He used to be bullied and ended up being a bully. So, it was no shock when Tyson went to jail for rape but when he got out he was a lot tamer but still messed up because very rarely can someone out of the ghetto stay out of the ghetto.
However, in Mike Tyson's case he was eventually able to overcome his horrible upbringing and become a fairly responsible citizen. That's what boxing did for him, it gave him enough celebrity to rise up out of the ghetto.
Tyson almost lost everything so he's really a miracle and some people are fascinated by this.
