If we shouldn't take Jim Carrey seriously because he's mentally disturbed as you say does that mean we shouldn't take you seriously either?

              if anything, it's very entertaining.
people criticize certain stories as not quite true, but they never really argue against the broad scope of how hollywood was painted in that book.

It seems like Hollywood has always been just a magnet for attention whores who would sell their souls for fame and money.

I haven't read the book, but I did watch a documentary about it a long while back. It's available on Youtube:
I'll see if I can find an ebook of it online.

Here is a series of narrations. No video to watch per se, but he reads the book, chapter and verse.
That video you shared was great. I remember watching some documentaries on a few of these incidents. It's pretty horrifying just how deep this goes.

                        You're welcome.
I'm following along with the book. This gets really dark in places. Hollywood is so incestual and it gives a lot of insight into how Epstein and Diddy are simply extensions of what's been going on since Hollywood was established. Once you start to see government connections and mob connections all connected, things start to fall into place.
Hope you enjoy the narration. Let me know what you think of the book!

My mom had this book when I was a kid. The only thing that I remember from it was the Fatty Arbuckle scandal. I still remember the photos of the trashed hotel room. That poor woman!

OMG, that was absolutely horrific! Yeah, that was just next level sick!
As I'm making my way through the book, certain incidents stand out, and that one is at the top. Nasty! Poor woman doesn't begin to describe what she must've endured!
The book was banned for a long while, and it was really hard to get ahold of for years. There are also versions of it where big chunks have been removed.

Interesting. I didn't know it was banned at one point. I wish I had my mother's copy. I have a feeling it's somewhere in my dad's basement.
I'll keep any eye out for it when I'm thrifting too.

I think you can get it on Amazon at this point, but I don't know if it's the whole book. Perhaps eBay has an original copy, but for a while, they were selling at extremely high prices.

I just bought a copy off Amazon for $11.99. It says complete and unabridged on the cover. I was expecting it be pricier so I didn't hesitate.
My mom's copy was nice because it was a trade paperback with large photos.

Did you know there's a second book simply titled Hollywood Babylon 2? A very overweight Elizabeth Taylor is on the cover. I wonder if it's worth reading as well.
