Yeah,I'm mental and proud of it! Yeah,I thought Shawn was
better looking and had better hair,and would've been a better
match for Topanga.But that's now how things worked out. I'm
always trying to change couples which is why I will be writing
my own material so I can do things my way.

Prime Topanga around season 4 was definitely out of Corey's league physically. However, she ends up getting fat and bloated, and by the shows end, Corey's actually better looking than her.
Corey should have ended up with that Lauren girl he met at the Ski lodge

Truthfully, Topanga and Shawn would have been boring. Pairing Topanga with the "inferior looking" guy with curly hair worked better for this show.
