I am watching the first season of The Vampire Diaries right now, and I absolutely cannot believe she was only 47 years old in 2009 - she looks at least sixty, at least! I would have said in her sixties actually.

You realize it's a profile of her so of course they're going to pick a picture when she was younger.
Saw a commercial of her being interviewed by some show on Centric. She definitely had plastic surgery amongst illness/drugs. Whatever it is, she really isn't aging well.
This was posted in April. Possibly taken in 2009. This looks more like what I saw in the commercial.

Yes she was funny in Dead Like Me. She has great comedic timing which was evidenced anyway on A Different World.

In defense of the Vampire Diaries, she's supposed to be older so I'm guessing maybe she was made up that way, she is playing the girl's grandmother after all!
