I say Jasmine in Miss Ever's Boy's at the True Colors Theatre in Atlanta this past Thursday, and the only thing I have to say is.wow, what a snob. Or at least it appeared like it.
The audience was invited to stay after for a talk back or whatever it's called, and all of the cast, including the equally obnoxious TC Carson were answering audience questions and having a fun time with smiles on their facesexcept Jasmine. She just sat there. With a mean expression on her face. Like she was constipated or something.
I understand she's going through some personal issues, but come on! These are your fan's here! At least acknowledge the people who paid to see you.
She even bolted out of there when fan's just wanted an autograph or picture.
But other than all this, it was pretty cool to see her in person. -

Yes, some people do look angry when they aren't smiling. I get that a lot from people. People think I'm mean or stuck up. I can't go around with a smile on my face, I'd feel stupid doing that then it'd look like something is wrong with me for smiling for no reason. I smile if I speak to a person and of course when I'm laughing. I'm the nicest person in the world. I am quiet though and don't start conversations with people most of the time. b68People always tell me to smile cuz they say I look mean when I'm not. It's just how I look when I'm not smiling. I'm not being mean.

Ms. Guy has been working constantly in spite of dealing with some major health issues. You got a great show, so please cut her some slack.

Miss Guy is actually a class act, i don't know what happened, but she is a class act, you can't be a snob and take time to direct a play with students at Spellman, when you are still a legitimate actor/celeb worthy of TMZ attention LOL.
She is not Whitley Gilber and yes her face look mean when she is not smill2000ing!
as to her health issues, why is this lupus thing still seen as credible, she has never adressed the issue, she has never denied nor confirmed I am pretty sure if she did suffer from that Lupus thing, she would act like any celebrity, be champion of its cure, with a foundation that fund raise to give money to research ways to cure it since she hasn't done that, let's stop that Lupus non sense
Jasmine got old maybe because of smoking or marital problem but Lupus? No there is any no scientific data establishing the link between excessive aging and lupus! -

I know you posted this two years ago, but I just had to point out what an idiot you are. There's such a thing as being private. When people go through difficult illnesses, dealing with the attention can be too much. No one wants that sort of pity. Everyone deals with things differently. There isn't some contract celebrities sign once they become famous that requires them to champion a cause if they get a difficult illness and you're a complete idiot to think that. No one has any idea what she's going through so to assume she DOESN'T have lupus just cuz she doesn't do what you'd expect her to is incredibly narrow-minded.
And it's not "that Lupus thing." It's Lupus. It's a tough illness. And there's no nonsense involved in people talking about her having it. The only nonsense is your post.

Actually Lupus is known to increase the aging process, as will any life threatening illness.

I actually met her today (I work for one of the Atlanta television stations). She was very sweet and gave me a hug and even posed for a picture. She probably was having a really rough day or was exhausted when you met her.

You have to understand that Jasmine is currently undergoing a lot of personal and financial issues in her life. I hear that's she's heavily in debt, and being sued for 86k by AMEX, and that she and her husband have divorced. Such adversity would take it5b4s toll on anyone, and would most likely explain why she wasn't in the mood to be bothered. (And it would probably also explain why in recent years her appearance has been poor.)
The thing that always impressed me most about Jaz is that, unlike a lot of "bi-racial" celebrities, she never perceived herself as bi-racial but as black.
So I think that that in saying that she's "stuck-up," nothing could be further from the truth. I just hope that she can get her issues resolved. -

I think people often have an image in their head as to how a famous person should act. That they must be friendly and pleasant 24/7.
Are any of us like that? We all have bad days, or we're not feeling well.
I also have a face like Jasmines where people tell me I look stern when I'm not smiling, but I'm not going to walk around smiling like an idiotLOL.
She sat there didn't she? She could have not bothered at all.
