Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Jonathan Jackson

I heard that Johnathan Jackson was suppose to get the role of Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones, but his co-star Hayden Christensen who did a movie ended up getting the role instead. I think he is a better acting than Hayden is since his acting tends to be more powerful and filled with raw emotion.

I think he would have played the role better then Hayden. The only drawback I could see is that I don't know if he would have been able to bulk up as much as Hayden did between Attack of the Clone and Revenge of the Sith.
I would have LOVED to have seen Jonathan in that role, being a huge fan of him and Star Wars.

JJ would have made those movies actually good, instead of total crap. Also, I'm sure JJ wouldn't have any problem "bulking up" for a role, that's what a personal trainer is for.
