Everyone is always talking about Angela Bassett for the role of Storm, I think the perfect woman in her heyday would have been the model Iman. Iman is such a graceful, beautiful and tall African woman.

I can't see her as Storm. Maybe Angela Bassett or Vanessa Williams (the light-skinned one) but Grace? Naw. Can't see it. If she had any acting skills, I would've said Iman because she and Angela bear the closest resemblance to Storm.

If it were made in the 80's. look no farther than Iman she was perfect. Another one that would have made a truly beautiful Storm would be Vanity.

Vanity was beautiful but I don't think she could have done Storm - first of all, her acting stinks, she's also a little too "pretty and soft" to come across as a goddess.
I agree with others that Iman would have been perfect That face, the voice, the hair etc.

When she was young, yes, I think she's a bit old for the role. Also she would devour the screen and nobody else would be paid attention to, she has so much presence.
