I recently had the pleasure of meeting Sharon Lawrence at a rescue and rehab operation in Southern California for abused Dogs, Cats, and so on. It is called "Living Free", and it is a very impressive place.
We were in the area(from Michigan), for about a week, and went to "Living Free" twice. We went on a tour of the facilities one day, and found out that they were having a fund-raising concert later that week.
They had Melissa Etheridge, and Maddi Rose perform. There was a comedian named Debi Gutierrez,
and the Master of Ceremonies was Sharon Lawrence. She has done this more than once. She obviously cares about more than just herself!! I am from a family of Musicians, Artists, and ACTORS, and I don't believe that Actors are all Genius's. What I do beleive, is that the people like Sharon don't need you to think that they are special, but her actions make it clear to me that she IS SPECIAL. If more people did the kind of thing that she did, just by participating.the World would be much better-off!
