Both are amazing, and i always get teary-eyed when I hear Into the west. I just recently heard Love song, and I have to say, it is AMAZING! It is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs. So I'll go with LSFAV.

Never heard "Love Song For A Vampire". I do like "Into the West&quob68t; though. None of the guys at Chefelf's Movie Theater forum seemed to like that song though; they only like the songs by Enya ("May It Be" - which is also a very good song) and the lady who did the Gollum song.

Love Song For a Vampire is lyrically and vocally FAR superior. STILL guts me every time I hear it. Into the Westmeh, not so much. Just another incident of the overrated LotR fad and fixation.

Hmm, I'll have to disagree with you. I love Love Song for a Vampire a lot, but Into the West is definitely better. It just sums up the whole movie! It is beautiful. Also I have to say to the person who said LOTR is overrated, just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's overrated. Maybe it just means you have poor taste.

The same person with whom you disagree is the same person who called LotR overrated - me.

I actually DO enjoy the LotR series. I just didn't think it was anything SO completely earth-shattering, enough to rob the other films more worthy of the awards.

Kryssi, I agree with you on what you said about the LOTR series it wasn't anything groudbreaking. The sweeping ROTK did was simply how they tried to reward the whole trilog5b4y since it took a lot of money, time and effort to make, but the third movie by itself is not any better than the second one or third one, IMO.
I love Annie, but I think if she deserved a nomination and award, it should've been for "Love song for a vampire" in first place.
