You hate democrats and republicans? You must hate a lot of people. Most people I know are one or the other. I don't e

NetPlay525: "Her unabashed support of President Bush and her attacks on our freedoms (such as Freedom of Speech) are both shocking and sad.
The vast majority of America has woken up and now realizes that, in fact, Bu$h, Inc. is the worst President the USA has ever had. He is destroying our economy, he has made us far less safe than we've ever been and he and his cronies are doing everythign they can to take away our basic civil rights.
Is Reba really stupid or does she genuinly hate America? Those are the only two explanations."
Your reasoning reminds me of when Dana Carvey would do the Church Lady. Remember that character?
Church Lady had a guest on the show who said he didn't believe in God. Church Lady responded with "what else do you not believe in? America?"
snicker, snicker, snicker.
You are as entitled to your opinions and conclusions the exact same way that Reba is entitled to support who she chooses for President. It is the right of the pair of you, no one moreso than another.
Now if Reba earns more money, then she has the right of the free enterprise system to decide who she wants to fund for President. And you have the same right to donate money to whom you choose to support for President.
But I got to tell ya, I'm not so much pro-Republican, I just don't care for behavior from people who are liberals and Democrats and think that SNL stand up comedy humor is the Democratic platform, or 'Bush is stupid' is all that needs to be said to explain what the Democratic party has to offer.
But above all else, you really should learn how to reason. You don't make an inquiry, then conclude that those must be the answers to your questions.
I won't say Reba McEntire is 'stupid' nor does she 'hate America'.
Those aren't the only two explanations.
The third and more likely explanation is that Reba has an opinion that is different from yours.
And also, I can't help but notice that you posted this query, making its slanderous accusations, and you havent returned once to discuss this with any of the other posters.
So essentially, you are a hit-and-run poster.
You make the allegations and taunts, then leave it to others to fight out. -

First of all, Reba does not hate America. And just because she supports Bush does not mean she's a bad person. I personaly don't like Bush, but I don't go around hating his supporters. I don't even know why we're all talking about politics anyways, if you want to go bash celebrities for supporting certain parties then go somewhere else. You shouldn't hate people and acuse them of hating America just because of their veiws. And about the whole freedom of speech/Dixie Chicks thing, if the Dixies Chicks can say they are ashamed of Bush (and I support them with that), then why can't Reba say she supports him? I really don't understand.

So let me get this straight. Because she does not fall in line with your favorite policies she hates America?
Last I heard, living in America means that you are free to believe whatever you want, and that you are also free to voice your opinions.
You went too far when you accused her of hating America, just because she doesn't believe what you believe. -

^^^I agree. We all have different beliefs and that's what makes us American, our diversity.
Exactly. Don't get me wrong. I'm not thrilled with a few things Bush has done. But then again, I have no idea what it's like to be in his shoes. Think about it, guys: This man is the leader of our nation. Do you have any idea how much pressure that would be? So instead of trashing him, why don't you lift him up in prayer? (That is, if you're someone who believes in the power of prayer.)
Also, if you think your ideas are better than his why don't you find a way to share them with him? -

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. I can't believe this is even a forum thread. Reba has her beliefs, and that should be respected. She does not hate America. I'm a die-hard Reba fan, as well as a die-hard Democrat. (So please, do not diss Reba OR THE LIBERALS!)I may not like the president at all, but who Reba chooses to support and be friends with is completely her own business. I don't love her any less for it. It is a non-issue for me. It's not like Reba goes around saying, "You can't be a fan of mine if you don't love President Bush." Therefore, it is a non-issue for me. Why are we even debating politics on a Reba board to begin with? There will always be the "great divide" between conservatives and liberals. So we could argue about the current state of our country until we're blue in the face. Yet, I would much prefer to discuss Reba. NOT HER POLITICAL BELIEFS. Sure, we can talk about them. Yet, I don't want to debate them.

I always thought Jimmy Carter was our worst president, well at least until the current occupant was elected. Carter had double digit interest and inflation rates, plus double digit unemployment on top of our people held captive in Iran for over a year. I'm no fan of Bush, but even he didn't have that.

Thanks for resurrecting a stupid, long-dead thread that should've stayed at the bottom. If you're trying to debate rationally with others, you've lost all credibility by saying "Mohammed Obama." Whether or not you're an idiot in real life, it makes you sound like one on the internet.
