Carroll O'Connor RULED! He had the best comic timing of any actor I've ever seen. Remember his "shocked look" on "All in the Family"?

Sounds like ya need to see a few more actual comedians. He was a fine "workaday" supporting actor - hardly the best comic in show biz.
