I love Sarah Paulson. I think she's one of the most talented and versatile actresses around. Just curious to know. Does she smoke in real life? Like a lot of the characters she portrays?

I came here to see if someone asked this or knew the answer. She smoke heavily in a lot of her roles, granted they would be fake cigarettes.

I'd have to ask, but I don't see her smoking off set.

She JUST said on the Steven Colbert show that while she does NOT smoke, for the role of Marcia Clark she IS smoking for real, as she was in her previous role that overlapped this role.

Talk shows are literally scripted advertisements for celebrities. If Colbert asked her about smoking it's because Paulson's agent/publicist asked him to and told Sarah what to say back. Being a smoke myself it's very obvious when an actor is a heavy smoker and it's obvious Sarah can smoke like a nicoqueen!
