The director of 10 Cloverfield Lane, Dan Trenchtenberg, has the exact same surname, and it seems too elaberate a name for it to just be a coincidence. Anyone know?

They're not related. He was publicly asked this question and said he wasn't.

It's not the same family name (Trachtenberg, Trenchtenberg), but the funny thing is, if you search for Trenchtenberg on google, you first get the search results for Trachtenberg, and then if you chose Trenchtenberg again half of the results are Michelle's surname misspelled.
But then again, the guy's actual name is Dan Trachtenberg.

How can you type out his surname then say "the exact same surname"?
