I don't even think Elijah Wood has one yet. He has done a TON of great films (acting since like 8 years old), like Lord of the Rings, that alone should have given him one. I may be wrong, but last I checked he didn't have one and she doeshmm?

You have to fill out an application to be put on the walk of fame and if they accept it then you get put on there. They don't just hand out stars to anyone; there are plenty of huge movie stars that don't have one (e.g. George Clooney, Angelina Jolie, Clint Eastwood).

Shows you how FAKE Hollywood is.
She gets a star, really?? For??
Nothing against her personally yet this is outrageous.
Yea, I know well, you have to have the application submitted, pay the 25 or 35 Grand whatever it is now, yet for her to be up there before Real actors, ones that don't just stand there and show off body parts and be the saaaame persona all the time just shows what a Farce it all is.
Eastwood, Pacino, Lucas etc. I realize it needs to be submitted yet it doesn't have to be by the person themselves, from what I understand.
That said, why she gets one for being a one trick pony is not only outrageous, it Cheapens if not degrades the whole thought of it.
Again 'nothing personal' against her mind you, yet if she took the high road, she would have declined until she 'actually' did something different than the 'same ol same ol'.
Hollywood use to have a sense of class to it.
Another example, it's lost even it's way.
          Sad.

Nobody in the last ten years deserves a star. They're giving them away like a free glass of water at Denny's. I gave up caring about it. But I'm okay with Sofia.

The criteria for qualifying is astonishingly low:
Professional achievement (which is apparently subjective), five years experience in the field for which they are nominated, a history of community service or "charitable contributions", and of course most importantly
                  , paying the $30,000 fee.
With those used as the criteria it seems almost anyone can get a star on the Walk of Fame. Maybe those performers that are not represented there that you think should be are just not interested in something that has no real value.

I call bullS hit to filling out an application and be approvedIt's for a body ( not just big tits and greatA SS) of work. it's all about the money. It's all about who swallows. Jesus Christ look at that piece ofS hit Ryan (semen) seacrest ..What has he done? And yet he gets a star? So either Sofia swallows a lot of "evidence" or she paid a lot of money and BOUGHT HERSELF A STAR ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME!

As I stated before I expect anytime now they'll give Melissa Rivers a star. So it means exactly..that much.

Melissa McCarthy has one Gary Oldman does not, enough said. They may have meant something back in the day and right up to the 90's but today they don't mean squat.
