He was so handsome in T.V movies and on "7th Heaven" for a few seasonsand then literally from one season to the next he hit the age wall HARD!!! He looked raggedy and scraggly and unwashed! And half-asleep most of the time.
I heard he had cancer in 2003, but its in remission thank goodness!
But he looked scraggly long before then. I wonder why he changed his image, it was not attractive!

Unless they're crossdressing, men DO look like men.
That's as offensive as saying women should look like women. Some people think Barry is still not manly looking when you put him next to, say, Jason Statham or Bruce Willis.

I think the cancer or the treatments for the cancer aged him. I was very shocked. Sometimes it takes a while for other people to notice the changes that probably were more apparent to those closer to someone who had an illness.
He's still handsome, but just not in the same way as before.

The cancer treatments completely changed his appearence. "the age wall hard" Not really. If you remember when he announced it was night and day really. His first public appearence was at a movie awards show after he was in remission and he had some clear signs of balding/ sickly looking. Cancer treatment takes its toll regardless of how old you are.
