of course, it's a good site to keep track of your reading and i use it, too, but goodreads' community section is not very advanced, like there's no forum and you can't really have conversations with other users there.

Ever read a real dog of a book, just awful, and someone just raves their ass off about it? And you wonder if you read the same book?
I just finished one that had high ratings, but to me it felt like it was written by a teenager. Terrible.

Lol sometimes. but somehow i pick my books wisely most of the time and rarely end up being thoroughly disappointed? there's usually always sth worth the time to get out of a book i'm reading and if there's nothing to get out of, i notice it early on and just don't finish the book.
