No Charlie in the Fringe Finale?

Why couldn't they have gotten Kirk for those quick little scenes in the AltUniverse for the finale of Fringe? They didn't even mention him! The altuniverse Fringe team was also such a threesome with FauxLivia, AltLincoln, and AltCharlie, but when they went back this time it was just Faux and BlueLincoln. Obviously AltLincoln died, but what about Charlie? That really disappointed me.
