Horrible as a good guy, great bad guy

Thanks to Isaac Florentine, he got some lead parts.
But if you see his lead parts (Gringo, Ninja, etc.) you'll see that he do5b4es the same role over and over.
Even as a fan, I'm tired of his terrible acting, and fighting only works a few times. Seeing him doing flips in movies won't keep your attention for long.
However, him playing as a bad guy (Boyka!!!!) or having small parts in other movies does work. I hope he keeps doing small parts and occasional lead parts in action movies.
But I'm happy he didn't get to do Batman. It would have ruined his "carreer". George Clooney survived Batman & Robin. Adkins never would.Suggestions?

I agree he's getting better.
But even the good-guy parts where he was decent, were all the same to me.
But to my surprise, when they got older, even Van Damme and Gary Daniels hugely improved as actors. So Scott may still grow.Suggestions?

I don't think he is a bad actor at all. Some of the movies he is in are pretty bad but thats either bad decision he makes or "he take the paycheck cause he need it" and/or thats all he can get for now Often the script is pretty poor and he is the only saving grace of the movie.
Its kinda like Luke Goss, he is hit or miss, sometimes the movies are cool, sometimes there very bad, but unlike Scott he does not have his fist and legs to save him. So when its bad, its damn bad lol.
Maybe Undisputed 3 set the bar too high and instead of helping him, thats the opposite, everybody compare his movies to "Boyka" movies. When it comes to U3 not only are the fight scenes amazing but even his acting was great as a russian "bad guy"
When he play a good guy, he often play a generic dude BUT in Green Street 3 i tough he did a very well job. In any case don't forget its a stuntman turned actor, so yeah he can improve still.
Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!
