Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Marc Alaimo

Okay, so he was praised already in this forum for his voice acting in the PC game "Call of Juarez" but still I feel I need to open another thread and add more praise. Throughout the game I repeatedly caught myself thinking that it is only a simple voice role but man, does the actor put soul into it. It simply is mesmerizing. I looked the actor up on IMDb to see what else he had done and was surprised to find that he was Gul Dukat and even more surprised that he didn't do anything since DS9. Anyway, if you get a chance try out "Call of Juarez". It's worth it alone for Mr. Alaimo's voice acting but the whole game is great with two intertwined and very engaging story lines, great voice acting across the board and the most beautiful graphics in a video game to date. Beware though, to get the maximum graphics quality you'll need a powerful PC. The U.S. release of the game is schedulred for June 2007. The U.S. version will feature enhanced DirectX10 graphics.

I got Juarez without knowing he was in it, his voice is instantly recognisable. And as you say it's extremely powerful. I'm very very suprised he hasn't been quickly snatched up by the game market in the same way John Dimaggio was (Bender, Marcus Fenix, Wakka).
And yeah, the game is pretty amazing. You say US release? I had no idea the game was made in Europe actually. I'd love to see it in DX10 graphics, i'm running it on a 8800GTX atm and honestly couldn't ask for anything more out of the game.

Yeah, it's a Polish company called "Techland". They made those two "Chrome" games and some Rallye games based on their in-house Chrome engine. Juarez was based on the Chrome engine as well.
I'd love to see it in DX10 graphics,
