At the top is Tenenbaums, at the bottom is Bottle Rocket. The rest are a jumble of awesome in between. Grand Budapest is near the top of that jumble and Darjeeling Limited is near the bottom. But all good.

              1. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
                A+
                my #11 all time
              2. Rushmore
                A+
                my #30
              3. The Darjeeling Ltd.
                A
              4. Bottle Rocket
                A-
              5. Moonrise Kingdom
                A-
              6. The Grand Budapest Hotel
                A-
              7. Fantastic Mr. Fox
                B+
              8. The Royal Tenenbaums
                B+
My listing's also changed before. I actually flipped TLA & RM on my top 50 more than year ago; I grew out of Rushmore a bit & grew
                into
Life Aquatic, probably literally & figuratively.
Used to have Budapest ahead of Moonrise, yet I've grown to love MK's summery forests & waterside locales, + Bruce Willis' Captain Sharp is excellent. I need more Budapest viewings, I only had the single theatrical- waiting for Criterion blu, no more double dipping.

Life Aquatic is the rare movie that for me gets better with every viewing. When I first saw it I wouldn't place it in my top 100, now it's in my top 10 most days.
Murray deserved some kind of award for that movie.

It's strange. The list of his films is always only provisional for me.
I mean, all of his films are great, but, for example, "The Darjeeling Limited" was "only" the fifth or sixth best Anderson film for me. Then I saw it again and it promptly went up the list. Last week, I saw "Fantastic Mr. Fox" which I didn't like as much as other of his films (when I first saw it) such as much as Budapest or Tenenbaums or Steve Zissou and, bamm, after seeing it again the other day, it climbed up the ladder, like instantly.
He is one of those who will never make a bad movie. Never.

This is super tough. They're all really great. But for me, it's gotta be:

                      1. Moonrise Kingdom
                      2. Rushmore
                      3. Fantastic Mr. Fox
                      4. Grand Budapest Hotel
                      5. Bottle Rocket
                      6. Darjeeling Limited
                      7. Royal Tenenbaums
                      8. Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Again, super tough. I really enjoy all of them.
