Help with the WCW One Night Stand

Vince and the WWF/WWE put NO ONE out of business. WCW was the only company who came atleast 80% close to putting the WWF out of business.
Vince's ass got lucky when Bischoff was fired from WCW. Then he got lucky again when he was able to buy WCW in 2001. Trust me, he was barely putting on good shows himself. Some of you idiotic children probably didn't even start watching WWF until 2003 or so.
ECW and WCW where both basically put out of business by their own higher-ups.
TNN kept ECW and sucked the life out of it, and the guys at TNN and TBS who hadn't even seen 1 full wrestling event in their entire lives decided to hault WCW programming on their stations.
Bottom line, Vince hardly put anyone out of business. -

Vince put WCW out of business by doing better numbers on tv and PPV buyrates.
That was because of WCW though, WCW towards the end was really dropping the ball towards the end while the wwe stayed consistant. Now the wwe is dropping the ball, but there's no one who's a direct competition to hurt them.
If you even knew anything, you'd accept it, get over it, and move out of mot5b4her's basement.
Pot calling the kettle black eh? -

And doesn't "wwe stayed consistant" mean the same as "Vince put WCW out of business by doing better numbers on tv"?
They did because their competition got worse, not because of the wwe doing anything superb.
Which is why when wcw folded, t2000he wwe sank down as it has, save to you of course.
You again? Don't you have pasta or spaghetti to be a-cooking?
Your still here? I'd expect somone like you to be on HHH's profile 24/7 on the wwe main site. -

You mean the Triple H/Rock feud, return of Steve Austin, emergence of Kurt Angle and reinvention of the Undertaker was nothing special? How come WWF got HIGH ratings back then, ratings they haven't been able to beat since, and WCW never managed to top even when they were the better fed?
How come WWF got HIGH ratings back then, ratings they haven't been able to beat since, and WCW never managed to top even when they were the better fed?
Rock/HHH was only good because of Rock, HHH was begining to get stale, proof of that is the fact that HHH can't get anywhere near that again, and he's been highlighting ever since.
Taker kinda lost popularity when he became Bikertaker after a brief hype.
The high ratings your confusing with the attitude era, which was dieing when wcw was folding.
Gee you'd think somone who gets turned on from the lines "I'm the game" would be better at this. -

Do some goddamned research, monkey boy.
I have and you basicly enforced what I said.
I'll repeat it since your slow (You'd have to be slow to be so obsessed with HHH).
WWE stayed consistant, wcw got worse and worse expecially with all the bad decisions and lost alot of it's viewers to the wwe, that's also part of the reason TNA hasn't picked up dispite WWE being pretty bad to average as of late, only really big time wcw fans watch TNA, casual fans watch the wwe or don't want wrestling at all since it's lost quality.
Because if you had the choice between crap and good, you'd probably choose good (Save you, as evident by you thinking HHH being on top the past few years is good).
This is why they should have shot your kind before they ever reached the States.
Comming from someone who finds sports entertainment to mean "I am the game", that dosn't mean much. -

My dream card for WCW One Night Stand would be:
Outsiders vs Kronic (Street Fight)
Rey Myserio vs Billy Kidman vs Chavo Gueerero (Ladder Match)
Hulk Hogan vs Macho Man vs Ric Flair (No DQ, No Holds Barred, No CountOut Match)
GoldBerg vs Sting -

If you wanna blame anybody for the demise of WCW blame Ted Turner thats right the head honcho of TBS, TNT, CNN etc He said in an interview a while back that he wanted out of the wrestling business and thus vince bought it out and thus the whole invasion angle
But my dream matches for WCW ONS would be:
Dean Malenko vs Chris Benoit Submission Match
Raven Vs Bam Bam Bigelow Vs Terry Funk in a Hardcore Match
Sting Vs Bret Hart (although it would never happen)
Macho Man vs Hogan Steel Cage match
Buff Bagwell vs Disco Inferno
Scott Stiner vs Konnan
The Outsiders vs Goldberg and Meng
Chris Jericho vs Rey Mysterio Jr
Chavo vs Saturn
Raven vs Syxx
1c84
Giant vs Lex Luger
