Has anyone noticed that this woman has talent, not just good looks?

Oh no, I know she's very good looking, and I haven't got a problem with her flaunting it either, hell knows I would if I had it. It's just, well all you have to do is look at the topic titles on her to see the talent seems to be overlooked for whatever assests she has. Maybe she has brought it on herself, but I just think she needs a little more praise for her acting skills and not just the supposed naked ass in that scene of that episode of Enterprise.
shrugs Call me a feminits, call me unacceptant of sex appeal over talent, I just think after a while it gets to a degree were it's almost derogitory, and she's not an actress to most, but more that horrible term 'eye candy'. -

I don't know about the talent part first hand, but I bumped into her last night in west hollywood. A friend and I had to go pick up a frame he ordered for one of his posters and she was there picking a frame up also. She looked a bit freaky, I haven't watched much of the show, but I have seen a couple of episodes and she doesn't look anything like she does on the show. My friend said she looks like she's had some sort of face work done, cause when people do have face work done they look a bit warped in real life. But I think she does look hot on the show, guess camera's do lie. She was also shorter than I thought she would be, and her breast's didn't seem to be that large for someone with her frame, so I don't know if they were real or not.

I'm with you on this ororomunroe. I'm no expert on actors or actresses, or on cameras "lying", but I can't see how you can fake good acting. I am always impressed with her portayal of T'Pol. I think she is fabulous in this part. T'Pol is a complex character, and I can't imagine anyone else but Jolene as her. The scene with T'Pol fighting back the tears as her mother died in her arms is an excellent example. I am fascinated with the character of T'Pol and much of it has to do with Jolene's superb acting talent.
I'm also glad to see the improvement in T'Pol's appearance since the first season. In the first season, her hair was bad, and her bust was ridiculously "pumped up". But now, her new hair is much more natural looking, as is her overall appearance. Enterprise seems now to be taking better advantage of Jolene's acting talent, and not just using her as the "Vulcanbabe". -

I'll tell you what. I just got finished watching the interview on the Late Late show from the week after she got married. When you see her real personality, I'm incredibly impressed with her performance as a vulcan on Star Trek. Amazing.

She's the most well defined female character in any of the series. She acts extremely well with her eyes. Her graceful, catlike, ultrafeminine body language works extremely well as a counterpoint to the rather sullen Vulcan stereotype.

She was in Playboy? Cool.
As for Jolene's acting, of course, she's excellent, I love Enterprise and she brings such a strong character to the show, played excellent without fault..well, she wanted to bang Trip, i'm not too fond of that but
Grrr, you underestimate my
power
