Has anyone noticed that this woman has talent, not just good looks?

I can agree for the lips but tits look a bit little for collagen they are like millions in the world.
And she's a talented actress:In the beginning I thought she was a worst actress then in bounty, impulse, shadow puppets she gave a good dramatic acting and one more thing only few movie(theater) actresses are talented and most actresss are collagened. -

Yeah that Jolene Blalock really pulls in some Oscar-worthy performances, right guys? Guys?
I understand your sentiment but I honestly think you're insane. Jolene Blalock is a D-grade actress who will forever be the guest of honour at nerd conventions. I don't hold anything against her, I just think she made some bad career choices, being in Starship Troopers 3 following Enterprise typecasts her almost as bad as Kevin Sorbo. -

Jolene really showed what she was made of in "Terra Prime." Who didn't tear up at that episode? What about E2? She played an old version of T'Pol and I really believed that she was a changed and well, aged character. Everyone forgets that it's not easy to sound emotionless while still having to display it just through the eyes. And she walked that line nicely. So yes, that qualifies her as a good actress. But I agree that she's making bad career cho5b4ices. Starship Troopers 3? I haven't seen it but the fact that it's direct-to-DVD isn't a good sign. She needs to do an indie film if she doesn't want to be typecast.

Starlet86 I think Jolene did much in Bounty and, above all, in Impulse, then I thought for a moment she was another actress However the "actress Jolene Blalock" is a strange character: in two interviews, in the past at beginning of Enterprise, she stated she accepted T'pol for needing even if previously auditions went very good but she didnt get any job. In DVD Enterprise season 2 special feature also stated she got good feedbacks good comments and so onI read during Enterprise Jolene was auditioned for the role of Elettra (Idont recall the title) and was the best classified but again no job now at the light of these situations or Hollywood doesnt work well or Jolene doesnt accept something you understand

In other interviews, Jolene also stated that she wanted to play a Vulcan character because she loved TOS as a kid (and used to have a crush on Spock). So I don't believe she auditioned for Enterprise just to have a job. But she's also been openly critical about whatever she didn't like in the writing. At this point right now, either she's really desperate for a job or she has a bad agent.

Maybe, but she never went to conventions since the end of Enterprise, probably she stated she wanted to play T'pol for commercials, when she working in Calgary Canada in March/April 2006 in I Dream a Murder she stated that without Frankenstein wig and pointed ears she felt another woman
However in the movie world we all know to keep good jobs at the beginning of a career as a nutshell she'd always avoid the casting couchand that is the aftermath. -

And I have to disagree. Jolene's T'Pol is just a wonderful character! Compare her character to any other in Enterprise: even Trip that is a good character with lot's of screen time and played by a very good actor, doesn't come close in character depth, J. Archer remaining totally superficial and uninteresting. What comes to characters across all the Star Trek saga, with a plethora of characters, only a few get close to as well defined as T'Pol! The holo-doc and Seven of Nine of Voyager and maybe Data of Next Generation are the only ones I can think of with as complex, multi-dimensional characters. Trekkies would hang me high for saying this, but T'Pol leaves Spock in so deep shadow he disappears from sight.
I've seen Jolene in Starship Troopers 3, Shadow Puppets and Slow Burn. ST3 is a total flop (unfortunately). Jolene has plenty of screen time in Shadow Puppets and Slow Burn, but would these movies have given her the celebrity status she now has? Not bloody likely!
Star Trek Enterprise was her best career move ever!
Lexa is
cute! -

Roska-Posti, I meant in character T'pol the acting is almost dull, besides Bounty and above all Impulse in wich Jolene gives a very strong performance and following Shadow Puppets a dramatic acting.
It's true, T'pol gave her the breakout, but scifi productions dont help the actress career: after T'pol she played some movie as lead-role but all direct to dvd. Jolene is A-role actress for A-movies.
Jolene is a sexy and very talented actress that is the top, her all auditions went very well and got very good comments and feedbacks so I always wondered why didnt get better roles.
